  15. I just compiled and installed xdvik, and was surprised that it now
  16. takes very long to start up (I used an older version of xdvi and a
  17. flat font directory before, with all pk files existing). Now I have a
  18. large font directory (ftp'd from uni-stuttgart), so this could be the
  19. problem. Still, for an ordinary latex file of 14 pages, it takes 2
  20. minutes!  By the way, in my current configuration, it does not call
  21. MakeTeXPK. I am running Solaris 2.2 on a SparcStation LX. Do you have
  22. any idea of what is wrong in my setup?
